I am the proud owner of this beautiful violin. After much research and a variety of considerations, I found this instrument. It met all my requirements and more. It is beautifully crafted and the sound is incredible. The notes sustain and the sound is rich. I would highly recommend this violin to anyone. This hand-crafted instrument will be passed down for many generations in my family.

I have just purchased a Strad 1703 and am looking forward to taking delivery and letting Jephin know my thoughts. Incidentally I purchased a violin at a similar price from another Chinese trader several weeks previously (my local luthier and maker seemed impressed at the price and quality of the instrument and I suspect also feels slightly threatened)! I have also recently been gifted an older German strad copy which has not been played for a while, and after set-up has a beautiful silky tone but lacks the driving power of my main instrument. I will therefore be very interested in discovering how my new instrument from Jephin compares and develops, especially in the light of Suzanne’s comments.
